Salt Creek (in Spanish – Quebrada Sal), is a Ngóbe Buglé village located on the South Eastern end of Bastimentos Island in the Archipelago of Bocas del Toro. Azul Paradise lies on the outskirts of Salt Creek, and we’re blessed to call this charming place our local community.
These are the friendly faces that run the resort, and they would love to give you a personal tour of their village and homes.
Wave goodbye to the beach momentarily and follow the wooden deck deep into the jungle where you’ll pass lush greenery, running creeks and rustic clapboard houses. You’ll be captivated by the beauty and intrigued by the characteristics of the Salt Creek culture. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, our guides are proud and willing to teach you everything there is to know.
Watch local ladies make unique jewellery, play a game of soccer with the kids, or visit the school. We encourage everyone to experience Salt Creek and its incredible community. You’ll understand what makes Azul Paradise so magical, and why this place really is paradise.
